Leda Machado, has over twenty-five years developing work in the areas of People Management, as an executive, consultant and academic. She was Human Resources Director of multinational and national companies, including: Director of Infosys; Director of American Tower; Corporate Director for South America at Eaton Corporation; Director and Ethics Officer for Latin America at Emerson Network Power; Director for South America at Deloitte Consulting; Director of Ernst & Young and OESP Mídia. She was also Director of Leadership and Consulting at The Gallup Organization.
Graduated in architecture and urbanism, she found her calling in her international postgraduate studies. The focus of her studies was Gender, a very current topic. She has two post-PhDs. One from the University of Coimbra, Portugal and another from the University of Olviedo, Spain. She also has a Ph.D in Sociology and a Masters in Development Planning, both obtained at University Collegy London, University of London. She published two books on Gender and, in 1994, received the Young Sociologist award from the ISA - International Sociological Association.
She worked as an undergraduate lecturer at FGV EAESP and in MBA courses, at INSPER, IBMEC São Paulo / IBMEC Rio, FGV and FIA.
She designed, coordinated and taught classes in the EDP (Executive Development Program) in People Management at HSM.
Her career and social concern were recognized when, in 2012, she was appointed advisor to Greenpeace, Vice President in 2013 and President in 2014.
